David Holden is originally from Inistioge Co. Kilkenny.  He is a ceramic artist living and working in the West Kerry Gaeltacht.

 

David has been working with the medium of ceramics since 1988.  Using various firing techniques, David’s work adventurously explores the textures and sculptural possibility of the medium.    

 

Most of the work available to view on this website is wood fired, using a Japanese style Anagama kiln in West Kerry.
